Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Job Log Chrome extension and this website.

Last updated September 24, 2026

Acceptance

By using Job Log, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension. The public website is available to read without an account.

The service

Job Log helps you record job applications from job pages in a Google Sheet you configure. It may use your Google Sheets access and the Gemini or Groq API key you provide to carry out that workflow. Features depend on Chrome, Google, LinkedIn, Gemini, Groq, and the job sites you visit, which can change independently of Job Log.

Your use and responsibilities

Use Job Log for lawful, personal job-search recordkeeping and follow the terms of the sites and services you connect. You are responsible for the accounts, API keys, spreadsheet, and content you choose to use. Check entries for accuracy before relying on them; extracted job details may be incomplete or wrong.

Availability and changes

The developer may update, suspend, or discontinue Job Log or parts of it. The extension and website may be unavailable or fail when third-party services change or are interrupted. Where practical, material changes will be reflected in the product documentation or on this site.

Ownership and permitted access

Job Log’s code and branding remain subject to their applicable rights and the license published with the source code. These terms do not give you ownership of the product, third-party services, or another person’s content. You keep control of the spreadsheet and information you provide through your own accounts.

Suspension

There is no Job Log account or developer-operated backend to suspend. Access through Google or other services may be limited or revoked by those providers under their own terms. The developer may stop distributing or supporting the extension if its use creates a legal or security problem.

Warranty and liability

Job Log is provided as available, without a promise that it will always work or that extracted data will be correct. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the extension or website. This does not limit rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date above will change when they do. Continuing to use Job Log after an update means you accept the revised terms.
